Another resin/poly clay adventure: this time a little birdhouse. I love birdhouses - so many possibilities, and somehow I find comfort in the 'home' thing.
Speaking of houses, I am soon to be changing mine. We've wanted to sell for a few years now, but the timing has been so bad with the economy and all. We decided to try again a few weeks ago, and much to my surprise the house sold within six days. I'd like to say it's all been wonderful and we are now moving to the house of our dreams, but that wouldn't be quite right. I take some comfort from knowing that most of the world is currently experiencing economic turmoil, and as such, we have been swept along with most people on that tide. I think this is one of those experiences that I will just be glad to put behind me - no point dwelling on it.
For now we will live like birds, and find a pleasant garden with an empty birdhouse to nest in, and I shall take pleasure finding twigs and fluff to line it with.
I am optimistic about the future and it's possibilities. And there is always the magic bag for new adventures!
I am very pleased to hear you have sold your house and am glad you have the magic bag! We moved from our paradise garden in Somerset six months ago and we are still adapting to life in the north. Our magic bag seems to have worked - new dog after two years without, a short walk to the countryside and plenty of exciting things for me to create pictures in my mind about!! Good luck.

The main consolation regarding all of our "situations" in this economy is that we are not alone. It touches almost everyone. There were rainbows everywhere this week. I hope one of them colors your future.
ReplyDeleteThank you both for the kind words! Most appreciated.
