Never mind the magic bag, there must be a magic hat around here somewhere. This morning, when I looked into the yard I saw a large gray rabbit!
As with all peculiar adventures, The rabbit led to other rabbits. I realized I am drinking cardamon tea from a Peter Rabbit mug (whilst looking at the rabbit in the yard) and I am about to make a rabbit panel, of which I will post the cartoon.
It just so happened I purchased carrots last night, so I couldn't resist but throw him one. He seemed very pleased with it, and ate it immediately!
What a lovely bunny! Your blog and artwork are wonderful, thanks for visiting my blog today :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jo! It's Kristen. I haven't seen you in forever but MeiLei told me you wrote on her blog so I had to check yours out. I loved seeing all of your other work besides the few things I've seen in Holy City. You are so talented. I am truly envious. I might be in HC tomorrow morning...if not hope to see you soon. Give Cookie a kiss for me!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to look beautiful in glass. Can't wait to see it. It has an air of William Morris about it.
ReplyDeleteHow funny. He looks like a domesticated friend though...maybe just exploring the neighborhood. Or expanding his pallet.
ReplyDeleteYes! I had Morris in mind when I designed it!
ReplyDeleteSo - neighborhood rumor has it that someone 'released' 2 gray rabbits several years ago. And we do indeed see 2 gray rabbits from time to time. They are very big and healthy looking, but nicely cautious of people.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see them alive and well, when they appear.
